Saturday Will Be Visiting Day For Wanganui Bowlers
Next Saturday will be visiting day for Wanganui bowlers, each club sending a lull rink to feach of the other clubs in the city, and the larger clubs, including Marton and Rapanui in their engagements. Rinks so far chosen include:— Wanganui To play at St. John’s green: A. J. Sutcliffe, W. R. G. Thomson, R. J. McDonald, and W. Harris. At Gonville: R. Mepham, F. E. Williamson, H. C. Bebarfield, and J. Steel. At Wanganui East: H. A. Gatward, G. M. Benge, P. Buchan, and L. G. Walker. At Castlecliff: W. Gilberd, W. A. Wildbore, F. C. Jannings, and P. Thomson. At Victoria: M. V. Cathro, A. E. Thompson, A. Pidgeon, and W. M. Gordon. At Cosmopolitan: P. G. Hamilton, F. E. Quin, Alex. Thompson, and A. Anderson. At R.SA.: H. G. Johnston, D. G. Strachan, P. J. Cox, and D. M. Mursell. At Rapanui: F. W. Slater, G. R. McElwain, M. O. Tremain, and J. B. At Marton: W. Heath, C. S. Ryan, W. Cook, and A. D. Tilley. Any member unable to play is asked to notify the match committee or the honorary secretary as soon as possible. Members are notified that entries are now being called for club competitions, junior, intermediate, and senior singles and pairs. Lists are now po.<ed on the board in the cavilion.
