Riots Break Out In Honduras
TEGUCIGALPA (Honduras). Oct 11 (Rec. 6 pm).—Rioting broke ou* today at a number of points throughout Honduras, following yesterday’s Presidential elections, wherein Juan Manuel Galvez, aged 61, the only candidate, polled 225,000 votes, but 45.000 abstained. The incidents are believed to be inspired bv the Liberal Party, whose leader. Angel Zuniga Huete. withdrew from the campaign a fortnight ago One man was killed in an unsuccessful rebel attempt to capture Toncontit Airport. Galvez, who succeeds President Andinc on January 1, declared that the country was under control
