Two Waitotara County Members Consider Resigning J heir Seats
“When I left for this meeting this morning it. was my intention of resigning from the council,” remarked Cr. H. Titter at. yesterday’s meeting i of the Waitotara County Council. He ' said that he had postponed his de- ' cision for another month I The chairman (Mr. W. McKee) said he hoped that Cr. Titter would not resign but would at least carry; on until the end of his term. The i council now had one by-election and < he did not want, to have a second. ■ Cr. Titter said that he did not. like’ ito have continually to bring small I matters before the council for at ten - j tion. It annoyed him to have to keep ■ repeating his requests. i “I have felt the samp way .myself on many occasions,” said Cr. A. A. Win wood. He hoped that Cr. Titter would at least finish out his n resent term as a councillor Cr. Winwood said that he was tired of having to. make requests for small matters to be attended to and wondered whether | the job was worth while.
