Kohi’s August Meeting.— Mrs. Anderson, presided over the August meeting of the Kohi W.1., and welcomed all members. It was decided to hold a special meeting to arrange for the flower show in September. Mrs. Lennox gave a report of the visit to the W’anganui Woollen Mills and Wanganui Glass Coy., made by members of the Northern Group. Tv>o letters of gratitude were read lor parcels which have been sent to the Link Institute, England. During the month another 221 b. parcel of fat was posted. Mrs. R. Fraser demonstrated the art of needle point tapestry work, which was much appreciated by all members. Competitions results: Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Waterland 1 equal; flowers, Mrs. Lennox 1, Mrs. Waterland, Mrs. Foreman equal, 2.
