Russian Complaint

1.L.0. REPRESENTATION. Geneva, Aug. 16 The Russian delegate to the United Nations Economic and Social Council alleged that the International Labour Organisation was out of harmony with the United Nations and was not in accordance with the principles of democracy. A Russian resolution demanded that the 1.L.0. representatives should be divided equally between workers’, Governments’ and employers’ representatives. Of the 32 members of the governing body of the 1.L.0., 16 represent Governments eight workers, and eight employers.
