Assistant Director Of Agriculture To Visit Britain
: (P.A.) Timaru, Aug. 3, “The assistant Director-General of Agriculture (Mr. R. B. Tennent) will leave tomorrow for Britain on a visit, lasting several months, to study British agriculture and advise farmers in the United Kingdom on the establishment and maintenance of pastures,” said the Director-General (Mr. E. Fawcett), officially opening a winter farm course at Timaru this afternoon. 1 I Mr. Tennent will be .joined later in • the year by Mr. E. B. Levy, Director ‘of the Grasslands Division, Mr. Faw!cett added.
