Low Grade Timbers Can Be Used In The Building Of Garages

(P.A.) Parliament Bldgs., June 29In the House of Representatives today. Mr. W. Sullivan (Opp., Bay of Plenty) asked the Minister of Housing if he would so amend the building regulations as to make it possible to build a car garage using only secondary timbers, and other materials not commonly used in housing. Such an amendment would obviate the necessity of a toolshed, thus making this material available for housing.
