Big Dividend At Canterbury Park Trots
(P.A.) Christchurch, May 30. The Canterbury Park Trotting Club held its winter meeting at Addington on Saturday in fine weather before a good attendance. The track was in excellent order. A feature of the day's racing was that not one favourite paid a win dividend, and winners of six events returned double figures to their supporters, with Blackdale passing the naif-century mark. 'Tradition, a sister to the dual new Zealand Cup winner Haughty, having her second start, easily won the Juvenile Handicap to pay more than two score. Results are:—
