UNITED NATIONS APPEAL FOR CHILDREN
THE “CHRONICLE" LIST
An appeal to every person in the Wanganui district to give a day’s pay for distressed children in war ravaged areas overseas, has been launched by the United Nations. A list has been opened by “The Chronicle,” and donations may be made at either the main office (Wicksteed Place) or the branch office (Victoria Avenue). Following are contributions made to the “Chronicle” list to date:—
