One of the staunches: supporters of the Kaierau Club, a life member and former president and member of the union’s management, Mr. Harry Willis, formerly of Dunedin (where, so Otago folk say, they breed the sort that makes All Blacks) is in hospital. His club and Rugby followers generally will regret to hear the news, and all hope he will soon be back in his accustomed place at Spriggens Park. His service to the game was given largely for the young lads, fostering the boys “down under” in the grades, and like the few who take such an interest, he has enjoyed seeing boys he first taught to kick a football, rise Into rep. standard. As Harry says, it is worth all the sacrifice of time and energy to see just that.
