ELECTION IN S. AFRICA
ISSUE LIKELY TO BE CLOSE Recd. 12.5 a.m. Capetown, May 26. One of the main issues in addition to Government controls and Communism is South Africa’s relationship with the British Commonwealth. If the Nationalists win there are fears that, sooner or later South Africa will cut adrift from the Commonwealth and proclaim itself a Republic.
