Main Interest In Lambs At Weekly Wanganui Sale Main interest at the Wanganui stock -sale held yesterday centred in lambs state Freeman R. Jackson and Co. in their report. Top lots and good conditioned lines found an improved sale with a slight advance on late rates. Poor conditioned and tail end lots were again hard of sale as were a few pens of breeding ewes and were sold in the buyers favour. Fat sheep were fully firm over a light yarding. The same applied to a light yarding of pigs. Only oddments of cattle were yarded. Quotations: Fat wethers, 42s 6d. 44s 6d; fat lambs, 30s; medium 2-tooth breeding ewes, 31s; average wether lambs 20s 6d. 25s Id; Medium lacking condition and on poor side. 16s 3d, 19s 9d; medium ewe lambs, poor conditioned to 23s 4d, small 17s. Cattle: Light fat ex dairy cows, 17 12s, £8 15s; boners to £4; weaner Jersey heifers, £4 ss; dairy cows to £l2 10s; poor quality calved heifers, £6. Pigs.—Light baconers to £5 7s 6d; porkers, £2 3s. £3 12s; stores, 30s, 345; weaners, Bs. 15s.
