(P.A.) Auckland, May 10. The end was quick in the two professional boxing contests held in the Town Hall, bo*h bouts ending about the middle of the second rour.d. In the first, Sco •y McLeod ol Auckland, list 71b, won on a technical knock-out from Bobby Murant, of Australia, list. lib. In the seconc and main fight, Tommy Downes, of Palmerston North, 12st 12ib, Knocked out Joe Burns, of Canada, 12st 51b. Neither bout was notable for the skill of the contestants.
