Marist And Old Boys Draw

UNSPECTACULAR MATCH. In a game which did not include much that was spectacular, Marist and Wanganui and Old Boys drew on the racecourse, the final score being 9-all. It was only in the last minute of play that R. Eruce, with a penalty kick, enabled his team to divide the points. The teams were: — Wanganui and Old Boys: T. Grillin, P. Bosher, B. Jones, M. When it looked as if Old Boys were about to register their first win of the season, the red and blacks were penalised and Bruce goaled, to make a drawn game, the final score being: Old Boys 9, Marist 9
