SEARCH IN N.Z. FOR WOOL FOR JAPAN
(P.A.) Auckland, May 9. A representative of General Douglas Macarthur, supreme commander of the Allies in the Pacific, Mr. Max B Laupheimer, arrived by air. He has come to New Zealand to discuss with Government officials the prospects of buying wool for Japan.
