Flashlight Burns Photographer’s Face And Hands
(P.A.) Oamaru, May 8. As a result of a flashlight apparatus exploding, a photographer, Mr C. E. Clarke, of Waimate, received injuries to his face and hands, necessitating hospital treatment. Mr. Clarke was taking a photograph at a celebration of the Takaraht School jubffee on Saturday night, when the accident occurred. He was taken some distance by a car and then by ambulance to the Oamaru Public Hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
