Castlecliff Golf Club’s Events For Coming Week-end
Members of the Castlecliff Golf Club will play the second and final round for the Hopeful Cup (Stableford) tomorrow. N. Bristol, who scored 44 points in the first round, has a commanding lead, but he has had a reduction in his handicup and he will need to play consistent golf to retain that lead. During the week-end the club is sending a team to Marton to play against the Hawkestone Club. Seven more players are required to make up the team, the following have already notified their intention to take part: A. Mitchell, R. O. Foster, H. Brodie, C. H. Whetton, J. A. Whetton, L. Whetton, G. Bousefield, L. R. Simpson, A. L. Duncan, H. Russell, A. Climo, W. H. Hawke, J. Ibbetson, J. Wilson, F. Higgins.
The bus will Iweave at 8 a.m. and members are asked to ofing their own lunch with them.
