Russian Seems Certain To Win World’s Chess Championship
Recd. 8.20 p.m. Moscow, May 6 Botvinnik (Russia) has increased his lead in the world chess tournament by defeating his compatriot. Paul Keres, in the second session of their 20th. game. Botvinnik seems certain of winning the title in the remaining five rounds. In other adjourned games, Botvinnik beat Samuel Reshevsky (America) and Reshevsky beat Max Euwe (Holland).
