Wanganui Teams For N.Z. Ambulance Championships

Following the Wanganui district St. John Ambulance Brigade elimination competitions held recently, the Central Nursing Division and the Wanganui Railway Ambulance Division have been selected to represent the district at the Dominion ambulance championship competitions in Dunedin on June 7. Elimination competitions resulted as follows: Nursing Section. —Central Division, 411 points, 1; Aramoho Division, 402 points, 2; Marton Division, 385 points, 3. Ambulance Section— Wanganui Railway Division, 407 points, 1; Wanganui Ambulance Division, 3034 points 2. Visitors at the competitions included the assistant commissioner, officers and members of the Feilding S.J.A.B. district. The assistant commissioner, district staff and corps officers attended to the administration of the Wanganui competitions, which were judged by Drs. J. A. Duthie and W. J. Boyd, Mrs. M. Brine and Mr. McLeod (resuscitation).
