Bulls Applies To Be Part Of Palmerston N. Hospital District
(0.C.) Bulls, April 11. Arising out of the decision of the Bulls Town *oard to be included in the Palmerston North Hospital district, the Local Bodies Commission has asked the board to lodge an application before the Boundaries Commission, seeking exclusion from Wanganui and inclusion in the Palmerston North area. The board, on Thursday night, passed a resolution in conformity with the intimation, pointing out that the main reasons were (1) the availability of Palmerston North. <2> the cheaper and more convenient return bus service to Palmreston North, which enabled relatives to visit the hospital and return the same day. Board members were opimistic as to the outcome of the request.
