Wife Dies Of Injuries, Husband In Hospital After Car Smash
(P.A.) Dunedin, April 11. A husband and wife, travelling in a car which capsized after hitting a culvert end between Borton’s and Duntroon at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday, received injuries necessitating their admittance to the Oamaru Public Hospital. The wife died in hospital a few hours later. They were:— DEAD. Mn. W, J. McKinnon, of Otekajke, broken leg, two broken arms, concussion and shock. INJURED. Mr. J. McKinnon, of Otekaike, injuries to a thigh and ankle and severe cuts to the face.
