Otago Total 187 In Cricket Match With Southland

(P.A.) Invercargill, March 28. Batting first on Saturday Otago scored 187, and Southland had lost six for 105 at stumps. The Southland team was weakened by the absence of several of their best players, and their performance was creditable against Otago, which fielded a team of almost Plunket Shield standard. The weather was line and the wicket in good order, but the out field was inclined to be slow. Scores:— Otago First Innings. L. Watt, b O'Grady 10 R. A. Robinson, b G. W. Overton 12 A. W.
