SOCIAL AND PERSONAL Mrs. T. Groome and Miss Riack, of Hatuma, Hawke's Bay, are on a holiday visit to Wanganui, New Ply- 1 mouth and Waitomo. The New Zealand dancer, Bebe de Roland, who has been appearing with success in London shows for the past few years, is at present in Melbourne on her way back to the Dominion to visit her family in Lower Hutt. Mrs. M. Rutherford and Miss A. Wilson, who recently came out from England to join the staff of the Friends’ School, Wanganui, were welcomed to the monthly branch meeting of the National Council of Women by the president, Mrs. A. H. MacLean.
