INDIANS BEATEN IN LAST MATCH
AN EXCITING FINISH Recd. 10.30 p.m. Perth, Feb. 24. An exciting finish markid the conclusion of the Indians tour when West Australia won a hard fought game by six runs. With two wickets to fall the Indians needed only 10 runs for victory but the tail-enders failed. Puckett's sustained bowling performance on a crumbly pitch deserved his figures, 6 for 78.
The Indians tour record is: Won five, lost seven, drawn eight.
