SCOTS TWINS SEEKING BRIDES HAVE INQUIRY FROM AUCKLAND TWINS
(P.A.) Auckland, Feb. 4. The cabled report of the arrival in Adelaide of two Scotsmen, identical twins, who are seeking twins .as brides, had an immediate response in Auckland. A woman called at the “Herald” office and asked how she could get in touch with the two men. She has been given the address of the Adelaide newspaper and she intends to write on behalf of her twin daughters, who ate living wftti her in Auckland.
The two Scots are James and Andrew Swinley, aged 37 years, of Lochgelly, Fifeshire. They said in an interview in Adelaide that they would not be separated. So far they had not found two women who would live together without discord. They were looking for twin girls who felt as they did. The two Auckland women are of about the same age as the inseparable twins from Fifeshire and apparently they feel as they do, for their mother said they were definitely interested in the proposition.
