MANY JEW IMMIGRANTS WERE COMMUNISTS
(N.Z.P.A.—Reuter—Copyright) Received 7.20 p.m. London, Feb. 3 •Britain has drawn the United States Government's attention to the fact that documents found on a number of the 15,000 Jewish immigrants whom the Royal Navy recently intercepted in the ships Pan York and Pan Crescent showed that they were Communists. Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent, in reporting this, adds that Britain also pointed out that 1000 of the immigrants were Russian-speaking.
