BRITISH COLUMBIA BOWLERS PLAY AGAINST WANGANUI
In the presence of a large attendance the touring British Columbia bowling team * played a • series of games against Wanganui Centre players yesterday afternoon on the Wanganui Bowling Club’s greens. Wanganui bowlers scored 179 points to the visitors’ 130. The visitors were welcomed by the Wanganui Bowling Club president
(Mr. O. Hales). The reply for the Canadians was made by Mr. A. D. Grant.

Last night the visitors were the guests of the Wanganui Bowling Centre at a social evening in the R.S.A. Hall. This morning they will be taken to ’’Bushy Park, Mr. G. F. Moore’s property at Kai Iwi. This afternoon a further series of games will be played on the Wanganui Club greens.
