TRAFFIC OFFENCES

On a charge of failing to report an accident in which a person was injured, Cedric George Gwynn was fined £5 and 10s costs by Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at, Wanganui yesterday. Rupert Lionel Christiansen was fined £3 and costs on a similar charge, and for driving a motor vehicle when he had no driving licence he was fined £1 and 12s costs. Both cases arose out of the same set of circumstances. E. S. Cameron was fined 10s and 10s costs for riding a bicycle on a footpath in Jellicoe Street. Douglas James Lucas was convicted and ordered to pay 10s costs only on a charge of driving a motor vehicle without a warrant of fitness.
