Correspondent) Recd. 6.30 p.m. London, Jan. 14 Mr. Churchill is reported to be working at top pressure at Marrakesh to finish his memoirs before returning to London in time for the opening of Parliament. He has been spending his days dictating and painting. In the evenings he has discussed the next day's

work with Lord Cherwell, who has been contributing advice since the departure of Mr. F. W. D. Beakin, who is tutor in modern history at Wadham College, Oxford. Mr. Churchill has been in constant touch with London bv telephone, and has read all the 8.8. C. news bulletins which have been taken down by stenographers. He has also been discussing contemporary politics with Lord Camrose, proprietor of the "Daily Telegraph.’’ Lord Moran, Mr. Churchill’s personal physician, has returned to England.
