(Special N.Z.P.A. Correspondent) Recd. 6 p.m. London, Jan. 14 British farmers will tackle a big grassland improvement campaign this year in an attempt to make ’two blades grow where one before.”
A 20 per cent, increase in grass production is expected during the coming year to p-ovide food for more livestock and increase the sil®Be- By the end of the year some 400 grass driers will be working to produce 100,000 tons of dried grass for winter livestock feeding. This figure is to be doubled .next year.
