R.S.A. Green To-day
Players in the Wanganui Women’s Bowling Centre tournament are asked to particularly note that to-day play will be on the Returned Services green, near the St. John’s green and St. John’s tennis courts, not on the Wanganui women's green as has been suggested earlier. 10, v. Dennison (Wanganui) 20; Vernon (Castleclift) 16, v. Walker < Patea) 13; Verry (Patea) 20, v. Pluck (Wanganui) 21; Davis (Hawera) 13, v. Thomas (New Plymouth) 21. Rooinson (Castlecliff) a bye. Second round: Farr 22, v. Holloway 14; Pluck 22, v. Walker 18; Robinson 18, v. Vernon 20; Foley 14, v Berkett 20; Verry 6, v. Dennison 22; Penfold 10, v. Thomas 17. Davis a bye. The tournament will be continued to-day on the Wanganui R.S.A, green at 9 a.m. To-morrow pairs will be played, section A on the Gonville green, section B on the Wanganui green, Nelson Street. The final will be played at the Wanganui East green on Friday.
