SANDY’S CORNER
SEARCH FOR STEEL. Mr. Semple leaves next month for Australia in search of steel. Hell find it not so simple ns it sounds, especially as he's not stealing off to secure it by stealth. These Australians may s'eel their hearts and Bob will not ba able to steal their steel. That’s not his style. THE RIGHT COLOUR The following official statement was made yesterday by the New Zealand Colour Dehners' Industrial Union of Workers: "The coal which New Zealand is buying from Britain, when it arrives in New Zealand, will be black. This statement is made to clear up a great deal of misunderstanding and speculation about the matter."
