Wanganui Cricket Team Unchanged For Manawatu Match
The Wanganui Cricket Association's sole selector, Mr. E. C. Gee, announced yesterday that the Wanganui team to play Manawatu in a Hawke Cup match at Palmerston North this week-end will be the same as the eleven which played against TaranL. B. Condliffe (United Old Boys) may not be available, In which case he will be replaced by D. Ahern (Technical Old Boys) WELLINGTON COLTS v. WAIRARAPA (P.A.) Masterton, Dec. 29. Wellington colts made a first innings total of 318 against Wairarapa at Masterton to-day. Top scorers were P. Wilson 53, R. A. Vance 50, R. Phillips 47. Wairarapa has lost one wicket for 42.
