Range Of Prices For Wanganui Wool Sale

Wanganui wool disposed of by auction in the Opera House at the second sale of the season on Wedesday attracted keen competition and there was practically a total clearance at highly satisfactory’ prices, stated the Wanganui Woolbrokers’ Association in its official report made available yesterday.

“Approximately 25,000 bales of new season’s wool were offered, and competition was keen and widespread throughout the sale” the report stated. “The most noticeabld difference was the wide range between the finest quality and the strongest quality hogget wool.
