Mr. Alan Mitchell, New Zealand Press Association correspondent in London, who arrived in New Zealand on the Airies 11, will visit Wanganui on the evening of November 22 and will leave on November 24. Mr. Mitchell was formerly on the reporting staff of the “Wanganui Chronicle.” Mr. G. 11. Boesley, staff clerk in t.he district traffic manager’s office, Wanganui, since 1941, was farewelled yesterday afternoon at of railwaymen representing the staff and district office. Mr. Boesley. who has been transferred on promotion to stationmaster, Woodville, will take up his new duties early next week. He received a prsntation on bhalt of the staff from the district traffic manager, Mr. F. C. Wilson. Other speakers who also paid tributes to Mr. Boesley’s work as staff clerk for tjre Wanganui district. Included the assistant district traffic manager, Mr. A. 11. McKay, and the assistant traffic manager. Mr. W. O'Malley.
