Outspoken Remarks By Sixth Form Boys As to Church and Religion

London, Oct. 14 Sixth-form boys of the Bristol Grammar School were recently asked to give their view on the church and religion, and here art some of the things they said: "Vic.iFjj are either at home in the past or are intellectually incapable of living in the present.” "Too many clergymen go on with the care, of souls when they should be superannuate:!.” "Why does the church protect eras; inefficiency?’’ "The church is too much associate.! with bazaars, dances and whi|: drives.” 'felling 3(10 clergymen of this at the Bristol Diocea .an Conference yesterday, Mr. John Garrett, the school’s headmaster, said: "You must give young people an impression that, you are working ‘hell for leather’ to save them for Hu* church, if you do not in a generation’s time our churches will be regard! d merely as interesting monuments of a dead age.”
