FORMER NEW PLYMOUTH CYCLIST (P.A.) New Plymouth, Sept. 27. The fifth engineer in the vessel Wairuna, now at Auckland, is H.%E. McKenzie, who said today that he was a former member of the New Plymouth and Auckland cycling club'.; and had "been round the world six I times.’’ As a professional. Stating that he had raced or toured in 24 countries, McKenzie said he represented Canada at the world’s cycling championships al Zurich and hoped to compete again this year in Holland. He claimed he established a Bluff to Auckland cycling record in 1937 before leaving for Canada. This is his fi-rs'l visit to Now Zealand since then.
