HERD IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING
A record membership during the 1946-47 season was recorded in the eighth annual report of the management committee adopted at the annual meeting of the WellingtonHawke’s Bay Herd Improvement Association at Palmerston North yesterday.
i Because of a shortage of equipment, a number of applicants for member(ship had to be declined. It was hoped, however, that with more glassware ! available, there would be no need to i impose any restrictions during the ' coming season. The association's area includes Mar- ■ ton, Turakina, Wangaehu, Makirikiri. ! Westmere, Raetihi, Ohakune, Taihape, i Bulls, Rang! wall ia, Ohakea and Rata.
