34 YEARS AS DAIRY FACTORY SECRETARY
MR. A. HAWORTH RETIRES Tribute to the work of Mr. A. Haworth, who recently retired from the position of secretary, was paid by suppliers at yesterday's annual meeting of the Wangaehu Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., when it was decided to place on record appreciation of Mr. Haworth's work. Tributes were paid to his work by tire chairman of directors (Mr. D. Henderson) and Messrs 11. Anderson and L. A. Mackintosh. Mr. Haworth served with the company as secretary for 34 years, being ■ts first secretary.
“The very sound financial position of the company reflects credit on his judgment and business ability, and his able services so consistently rendered during his long term of olllce will be sadly missed,’’ stated the annual report Mr. V. B. Haworth has been appointed secretary in his father's place.
