GLASS IN MILK BOTTLE

Reports that splinters of glass have been found in bottles of milk are generally treated in newspaper offices with a good deal of caution, and sometimes with scepticism. Last night, however, th P night staff of the "Chronicle" had exhibited to them a bottle of milk, with the cap unbroken, containing a piece of glass. The milk was carefully poured into a jug, and in the bottom of the bottle was found a jagged portion of th c rim of another bottle. The fragment was nearly two inches long and nearly an inch wide. The bottle in which it was found was undamaged.
