PUBLIC OPINION
RADIO FOR GAOL Sir, —I am somewhat bewildered at the Mayor’s letter on the above subject. Why should we make prisons attractive? I understand that inmates of these necessary institutions are well fed and comfortably housed. Should we not put all our spare coppers in the fund to relieve our fellow subjects in Britain who arc starving, rather than add another luxury to theinmates of the gaol?—-I am, etc., PUZZLED.
