WANGANUI SUPREME COURT OPENS MONDAY— A HEAVY LIST

An unusually heavy list of criminal and civil business is set down for the second quarterly sessions for 1947 of the Supreme Court, Wanganui, which open at 10.30 a.m. next Monday before Mr. Justice Christie. Criminal trials alone are likely to take a week. Of the five persons who are to come up for trial, one man will face 12 charges of false pretences. In addition, there are four prisoners for sentence.
