DECISION AGAINST STRIKE EXTENSION

Recd. 12.10 a.m. Sydney, March 11 The Federal Council of the Waterside Workers’ Federation, by a majority vote, decided against any strike in other ports in support of the Sydney stoppage regarding the overtime issue. The State president of the Sydney branch, Mr. W. Coghlan, announced to-night that the Sydney stoppage would continue notwithstanding the decision of the Federal Council.
