MAXWELL MAN REMANDED

BREAKING AND ENTERING ALLEGED Charged in the Magistrate’s Court, Wanganui, yesterday, with breaking and entering by day the dwelling of Douglas Gordon Blair and stealin;, women's underclothing, of a total value of £4 9s. Alexander Real don, market gardener, Maxwell, aged 38, was remanded by Mr. J. H. Salmon. S.M., to appear at Wanganui again on Friday. The offence was alleged to have been committed at Maxweil on Saturday last. Detective L. B. Vasia applied for the remand. On the application of Mr. C. F. Treadwell, bail was allowed in accused’s own recognisance of £lOO, with one surety for that amount.
