The return visit of Ophir Rees’ Company of “Watch Your Step” fame, after a remarkably successful tour of New Zealand will present a new revue, “Take It Easy,” which is certain of a warm reception by Wanganui theatregoers. At the head of Mr. Ophir Rees’ versatile company of Australian artists from the Tivoli Theatre vaudeville circuit is a comedian well known and popular with New Zealand audiences, Joe Lawman. The specialty acts, of which there is a pleasing variety, are of a uniformly high standard with “Royston” (ventriloquist), the musical clown “Jandy,” the juggling and yodelling wizards “The Siscos” and “Jarrett,” cameo artist and magician.
