DELAY IN SALES OF WOOL
N.Z. BOARD WATCHFUL • (P.A.) Wellington, March 5 “The New Zealand Wool Board has been concerned at the delay and inconvenience caused to growers in the sale of their wool this year, and has very carefully watched the position," says a statement by the Wool Board, which added, “it will be realised by all growers that a number of the factors have governed the delay—principally the limitation of weights of bales of wool and delay in shipping, aggravated by the hold-up on the waterfront."
In discussing these matters with the NJw Zealand Wool Disposal Commission, the board has been informed that in view of the circumstances, as outlined, the commission will not make any offerings of greasy stock wools in New Zealand during the remainder of the current season, which will interfere with the sale and shipment of growers' current clip wool and its offerings will most likely be confined to limited quantities ot scoured and sllpe wook
