(0.C.) Raetihi, Jan. 8. With the Christmas and New Year rush on post office services practically over the staffs at the Raetihi and Ohakune post offices are gradually returning to a normal routine. The pressure of work for the Christmas pe> iod was extremely heavy at both offices, and the respective staffs were kept going at high pressure. , At Raetihi the busiest day was on the Friday prior to Christmas Eve. Telegraphic work was evenly distributed, but at both Raetihi and Ohakune it was necessary to have a staff on delivering telegrams for a period on Christmas morning.
