DANISH IMMIGRANTS FOR AUSTRALIA
Recd. 8.40 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 6. "Denmark will make sure that only useful citizens will be encouraged to emigrate to Australia," said the first Danish Minister to Australia, Mr. C. M. Rottboll, who arrived to-day. He told Interviewers that a society had been formed in Copenhagen aimed to promote emigration to Australia. He believed that Australia would not be readv to receive Scandinavian emigrants for about two years and that the bulk of the migrants should come from Britain. The attitude of the Danish Government was that while not actively encouraging Danisn citizens to migrate, it would try to help people who wished to go to Australia.
