NEHRU ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
New Delhi, Jan. 3. Mr. Nehru, head of the Interim Indian Government, told the Indian Science Congress that the Government would do all it could to advance scientific research, but he suggested that it was necessary for scientists to think about the way they had been misused and exploited to prepare means of warfare. The Government would not co-operate in the wqjs of war.
