Recd. 8 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 5. The wicket-keeping of Saggers ana the devastating bowling of Pettiford enabled New South Wales to defeat. Queensland outright in a Sheffield Shield cricket match by 197 runs, with 72 minutes to spare. After catching two in the first innings, Saggers caught four and stumped two in Queensland’s second inings. Pettiford finished the match with 10 wickets for 103.
